Updating an Architects former home to a Modern Bachelor Pad

This home was built as the personal home of a local Architect almost 30 years ago and it needed a modern update in keeping with the modern design of the home when the client purchased it. The kitchen was the biggest transformation while no room really went untouched from flooring to paint. It is always such a treat to have the client request Modern Design in the Midwest! This client came from a very traditional home and wanted to squeeze a few elements in with vintage rugs and antiques while going a bit more modern than he had previously.
